Why A Preview
Reasons why should you book a Bridal Preview (or as many call it, a trial run). Also some tips of some things to bring with you to be a worry free bride for your big day.
Let’s do a preview. Also known as a bridal trial. This is for both you and Citrine Beauty! Having the chance to talk though your vision helps us turn your bridal makeup/hair dreams to a reality. This also means that on your big day you are going to feel confident and happy. We want you to have that bridal glow! Peace of mind knowing your makeup/hair is going to last, look good in photos, and turn heads. We can’t wait to turn your bridal dream vision into a reality.
What to wear to your preview?
Wear white. Or whatever color you’ll be wearing on your wedding day. This helps you visualize! We also recommend wearing a loose-fitting shirt, button up (or robe on the day of), to not disrupt your makeup or hair pulling tight clothing over your head.
We highly recommend going out and doing something fun in your hair/makeup look. Date night? Yes, please! Or, our personal favorite, schedule a photo shoot or your engagement photos that day.
Talk to us. What are you feeling? How do you want to feel? Show us photos of hair/makeup that you’ve worn and loved. Tell us what you don’t like at all. See something on Pinterest? Share that mood board girl!
After your preview, take some notes and let us know. It’s normal to want to change a few things, or it could be perfect right away! But hey! Wear it, check it throughout the day, take some selfies, and let us know what you think honestly. This is your day, and we want you to feel beautiful.
It’s okay if you thought you had dry skin but noticed you got a little oily on your forehead, let’s take note of that for your wedding day to make the necessary changes/precautions. This goes for hair too. We want you to feel secure. If that means extra pins and hairspray, we’ve got you covered.
Bridal previews must be booked on a weekday. Citrine Beauty sets aside time for bridal previews – we do not offer previews on Fridays/the weekends. Let us know a time and date that best works for you. We can do a makeup preview in the studio, or a hair and makeup preview in the salon. Both are located downtown Wilmington. If you wish to do an at home bridal preview, travel fees may apply if outside of Wilmington.
