We aim to price at industry average, but that may differ depending on where you’re from.
We’re proud to say that our professionals are paid above-average, according to reports about similar companies.

A mandatory Professional Services Charge of 20% of services total is applied.
This charge replaces traditional gratuity and compensates assigned professionals for professional services.
Additional tipping is always optional and never expected.

For bookings requiring more than one professional, a charge of $150.00 is added for every additional professional.

The Travel Fee is calculated at $100.00/hour round-trip from ZIP-Code 28403, with a minimum charge of $100.00.
Additional costs such as:
Parking
Tolls
Venue access fees
Lodging accommodations
may be required depending on event logistics.

Service start times prior to 8:00 AM incur an Early Bird Fee.
The fee is calculated at $100.00/hour for every hour of service prior to 8:00 AM, rounded to the nearest quarter-hour.

To reserve your wedding date, a non-refundable retainer equal to 50% of your total invoice is required after contract signing.
Dates, times, and professionals are not reserved until the retainer has been received and successfully processed.
The retainer compensates for date reservation, administrative planning, staffing allocation, and opportunity cost.

After retainer payment, the remaining balance is due no later than 30 days prior to the scheduled event date.
Payments are processed through HoneyBook using the payment method on file.

Weekday Events
A minimum of:
Three hair services, or
Three makeup services, or
Three hair and three makeup services
is required for the day of the event.
Weekend Events
A minimum of:
Five hair services, or
Five makeup services, or
Five hair and five makeup services
is required for the day of the event.
Bridal previews and kid’s services do not count to the service minimums.
If minimums are not met, a Minimum Service charge of $75.00 per missing service may apply.

Bridal previews are coordinated after booking and scheduled based on professional and salon availability.
Previews are held in partnered spaces in Wilmington, NC.
One complimentary preview reschedule is permitted.
Additional reschedules may incur a rescheduling fee.

Hair Services
Clients receiving hair services should arrive with:
Clean hair
Fully dry hair
No more than one day un-washed
Artists are not responsible for blow-drying hair prior to styling.
Makeup Services
Clients receiving makeup services should arrive with:
Clean skin
No makeup
No SPF products when possible
Certain SPF products may create flashback in professional photography.

Services may be added or modified based on availability.
Before 90 days of the event date, added services are subject to 50% of total invoice paid on contract revision, with the remaining balance added to original final payment.
Within 90 days of the event date, added services may require immediate payment.
Service additions requested within 14 days of the event date are not guaranteed and remain subject to professional availability.
Same-day service additions are not guaranteed and may incur administrative fees.
Airbrush makeup service additions are allowed on the event date, and payment of $20.00 per service can be paid to your Artist through Zelle, CashApp, Venmo, Cash, or another way. Speak to your Artist on the day of the event.

Each professional requires:
A clean workspace
Adequate lighting
Access to electrical outlets
Minimal foot traffic
Bathrooms and unsanitary areas are not acceptable workspaces.

Professionals reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services when:
Unsanitary conditions exist
Unsafe conditions exist
Contagious conditions are present
Harassment occurs
Threatening behavior occurs
No refunds will be issued for services discontinued due to these circumstances.

Clients being serviced are responsible for disclosing allergies, sensitivities, medications, or medical conditions that may affect services.
Failure to disclose relevant conditions may limit available remedies regarding service outcomes.

More Than 90 Days Before Event
The retainer remains non-refundable.
No additional balance is due.
90 Days or Less Before Event
The full contracted balance becomes due and is non-refundable.
No-shows, partial attendance, refused services, or unused services do not qualify for refunds or credits.

Overtime is billed hourly per stylist or artist and is subject to approval and availability.
Overtime may result from schedule delays, timeline changes, client lateness, venue restrictions, or other circumstances outside Citrine Beauty’s control.

All professionals engaged by Citrine Beauty operate as independent contractors.
In the event of illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, Citrine Beauty reserves the right to assign a qualified replacement professional.
Professional substitutions do not constitute breach of contract.

Citrine Beauty is not responsible for incomplete services resulting from:
Client-caused delays
Venue restrictions
Access limitations
Weather-related delays
Late arrivals
Refunds will not be issued for services impacted by these circumstances.

Performance may be excused for circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, or similar events.
Retainers remain non-refundable.
One event date transfer may be permitted based on availability.
