Into the Kit!

Our clients might have noticed our makeup kit doesn’t look like your every day at-home beauty products. Citrine Beauty will explain a little about our depotting process, why we decant products, and some kit staples.

Lets start with Foundation:

Check out our Instagram to see some of our process HERE and watch us depot Charlotte Tilbury airbrush flawless foundation. Be sure to give us a follow!

Although we specialize in airbrush artistry, we also carry a wide range of liquid, cream, and powder foundations in our makeup kits. Learn a little more about our depot process below and why we do it!

Depotting is the practice of removing a makeup product, such as eyeshadow, blush or lipstick, from its original container and placing it into more practical packaging.

It saves beauty professionals time, space, and our backs!

Packaging takes up a lot of room. If you’ve ever wondered why your own makeup bag is so heavy, 65% of that weight is probably the packaging.

Does it break our hearts a little bit to rip apart beautiful packaging, smoosh up gorgeous lipsticks, and pump out pounds of foundation ? Yes. But ultimately, it’s to help not break our backs!

Holding 7 heavy foundations in big (beautiful) bottles took up valuable space and weight. Decanting products into @thekitpak or other containers are very common for makeup artists and hair stylists. Using often @zpaletteforreal @myocosmeticcases @vueset to make our jobs easier.

Depotting makeup makes it easier to work, transport, customize, downsize makeup kits and organize professional-grade makeup by types, colors, etc.

Depotting is not just for professionals! You can do it too- follow some of my favorites for some depotting tips and tricks. @depotchopra @theartistsarsenal
